What We Believe:

About Salvation

1. Man is separated from God because of sin.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

2. If you stay in this position, the Bible warns of spiritual death.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."

3. Our efforts to bridge the separation from God are inadequate.

Romans 3:20 "Therefore, no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law."

4. God made provisions for the cost and punishment of our sin to be paid.

John 3:16 :For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

5. How can we receive eternal life?

Romans 10:9 "...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Now what?

It's important for a new Christian to grow in Christ, to learn of God and His plans for your life. If you prayed this prayer, or if you have prayed a prayer similar to this in the past and would like to grow closer to God, we'd love for you to come grow with us. If not Calvary then we encourage you to find a church home to become a part of and continue in your Christian walk. If we don't see you now we will look forward to seeing you then....the best is yet to come!

About Baptism

Any person who receives Jesus Christ as Savior through faith and who publicly professes that faith may present themselves as candidates for baptism. Baptism shall be by immersion to symbolize the death, burial and resurrection of our Savior. Baptism shall be administered either by the pastor or other ordained ministers. Baptism is done as an act of worship.

About The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of worship, whereby baptized members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the cup, remember the death of our Lord and look forward to His second coming.  The Lord’s Supper will be offered to all baptized believers.  The Lord’s Supper shall be observed at least quarterly and/or as it coincides with special events and emphasis.
