After our church body was shown how to make sleeping mats and pillows out of plastic bags, this ministry has taken off! We meet once a month to cut plastic bags into strips, loop them together and then roll into balls of “Plarn”.  This is passed to the hands of a gifted crocheter to be made into a water-repellent sleep surface or pillow.  Not only our church but several other churches have joined us in making these much-needed items for our community.
